How to get Insights for Private GitHub Repositories for free

GitHub's product and its developer plaform are absolutely amazing, and we all love it. But there is this one little thing that's really annoying. As soon as you make a repository private Pulse, Contributors, Code Frequency, and all the other insights you want to have are henceforth only available if you pay Microsoft $4 for a PRO subscription. The same goes for private repositories in organizations. If code insights and a few charts are the only features you are interested in from the PRO perk list it might not really be worth the money, especially because you will have to pay once for your private account and once for every user and/or organization that you want to track repos from.

But luckily there is a simple solution to this problem. GithubTracker now also supports tracking of private repositories, both from your profile as well as from your organizations. And the best part is it's 100% free. All you have to do is to sign in with your GitHub account and grant GithubTracker the necessary permissions.
